A few details in your first message let us quote tighter and reply faster. None of this is required. A one-liner works too. But if you already have the answers, send them.
What you're trying to solve
A sentence or two on the problem. We don't need a 10-page brief. "We sell water meters and need an admin tool to bill customers monthly" is enough to start.
Rough budget if you have one
A range works. If you don't have a number yet, see the brackets on the pricing page. Most projects land between KES 500K and 2M.
Timeline if there is one
A KRA deadline, an event date, a board meeting, a launch window. If it's "as soon as possible," say that. We'll tell you straight what's realistic.
Anything already in place
Existing system, design files, API contracts, a tender document. If you're starting from zero, say that too. It changes how we scope.

Will you sign an NDA?
Yes. Send us yours and we'll sign before any commercial conversation. If you don't have one ready, we have a standard mutual NDA we can share.
Can I see code samples or past work?
Public projects are linked from the work page: mwalimu.ai, tickets.footballkenya.org, homeboyz.co.ke, konnekted.co.ke. Private client work we can show under NDA.
What if my scope is still fuzzy?
That's most projects. The 30-minute scoping call is where we sharpen it together. If it's still genuinely undefined after that, we quote a small discovery phase first instead of guessing.
Who owns the code when you're done?
You. The repository, the server, the M-Pesa keys, and the domain all ship into accounts you control. The contract spells out IP assignment explicitly.
Do you work with startups or only established companies?
Both. Our clients range from family-run logistics businesses (2NK Sacco, since 2015) to NSE-listed companies (Homeboyz Entertainment) and Kenyan federations (FKF). What matters is the project, not the company stage.
What's the smallest project you'll take on?
KES 250,000. Below that, the project setup cost makes it unprofitable for both sides. A freelancer is usually the better fit at that range. See the pricing page for the full breakdown.
